Full Job Description

Southern Hearts Homecare of Georgia, Inc. is seeking candidates for our Travel Registered Nurse position in the Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, GA . Travel Registered Nurse will work under the supervision and guidance of RN Manager. The Travel RN conducts in-home comprehensive assessments and supervisory visits of elderly and/or disabled adults with multiple diagnosis, and other clerical duties. Pay is per house visit.

Essentials Duties:

  • Conduct a Comprehensive Assessment to determine need for services.
  • Conduct Continued Needs Assessment (re-assessments).
  • Conduct Supervisory Visits.
  • Update information in the development of nursing policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the status of Private Homecare service delivery to ensure compliance with established goals.
  • Demonstrate safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times according to agency’s policy and procedures and HIPAA requirements.

Work Environment:

RN will conduct home assessments and/or supervisory visits as required per HFRD. Minimal physical contact with patients during an assessment and visit.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Georgia RN license
  • Computer Skills
  • Great Communication skills
  • Be dependable to obligations
